This unique service is centered upon formal representation of Physicians in the permanent placement process, where Salient MD Agency serves as the Exclusive Agent.

A few years ago, one of the Salient Principals was asked for advice by a younger physician completing an Emergency Medicine Residency. He was very frustrated with the recruiting/placement process. After several phone discussions this young Resident stated “you ought to consider representing physicians – kind of like a sports agent.” A light bulb went off, and the seed was planted for this powerful concept.

The initial inspiration of our Exclusive Agency service was to assist Residents and Fellows in the permanent recruiting/placement process. These Physicians are entrenched in medical training, and their training programs often represent their only professional employer. We believe having an experienced professional Agent makes great sense for many of these younger Physicians.
